We are actively working on compatibility

Our team is actively working to restore compatibility with the free edition of DaVinci Resolve. We hope to have a compatible version ready next week. This is our current target, not a confirmed release date.

Why did compatibility change?

The DaVinci Resolve 21.1 changelog states: “Advanced scripting now requires DaVinci Resolve Studio.”

This change affects the scripting functionality AutoCut relies on in the free edition.
